Still Alive
I love going up to Lindeman Lake . The water glows in the day light . The title of this painting is just . The main tree has fallen but it`s roots remain in the ground next to the lake . As the tree rots it`s remaining branches reach out for the sun light . When I took the picture I thought the tree looked like a rib cage with the branches growing from the spine . The story turns sad from here . In a more recent trip up to Lindeman Lake I found that someone had chopped off the remaining branches for something to do . Not even for fire wood . It was just a sad sorry tree but it had character , a story .
